Message I only try to treat people fair and speak the truth.
Your version of the down pipe story is an interesting fabrication.
That makes a lot of sense that I would bring you a flange with two holes and want you to only build it in a open down pipe form when we were already making open down pipes. LOL!!!
I did in fact bring you a HKS split flange that I located after a bit of research, but that was quite some time after I first spoke with you about making split down pipes. The reason I brought you the flange was in hope that it would make it easier to build the split pipes from.
You said it was too much work, so I asked you to at least build the open mouth down pipes on them so I could at least test the separator.
I was selling the 4 bolt split down pipes for at least two to three months before you copied them and tried to market against me.
After you copied my down pipe and tried to market against me and I came to see you.....
We came to an agreement and the agreement was that when I sell them I would advertise that they were designed by Greg Dupree and manufactured by Labree Motorsports. This was on my website until the super splits were made.
The Super Split Design was a result from what I was asking for and what Tony (Now at Fast Intentions) came up with.
I told Tony at that time I wanted to slowly expand the outlet from the turbine side and bring the collector down to the bottom flange.
Since Tony built the super split I tested it and found good results and we went with it.
What I really wanted Tony and I have now built and together and we are just working out the details of the most cost effective way to produce it to try and keep people like yourself from coping it.
The X-Pipe Design using a 4” pipe in the center and squished oval and then knife edging the two 2.5” pipes at each end is the design I personally made on my own car before I even met you. When I asked you to make that for me for other Z cars you told me I was crazy and that the pipe in the middle had to be only the size of the one of the pipe where they meet. I find it funny that all the exhaust you build for all model cars now has this design.
The idea to make the pipes straighter to the mufflers was mine as well. You did get Sebring to build the muffler.
Tony and Danny (When they worked for you) were trying to help you grow your business outside the Z market and they asked me if the Cat Backs could be called Labree to help grow your business in other car markets and I agreed to it to help you out.
It is sad to see you jump in with lies.
I have a long history with the folks here and they know how I conduct myself.
Trying to dig your self out with lies will not cut it here.
The muffler story I heard was also much different then the one you told. The story I heard was second hand, so I will let that story come from the source.
